Student-Led Golden Wings Theatre Company Brings Bye Bye Birdie to Holland November 12–14

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — November 2026

HOLLAND, PA — Golden Wings Theatre Company, a student-run theatre organization, is preparing to bring the classic rock-and-roll musical Bye Bye Birdie to the stage November 12–14, 2026, at 2002 Rock Way in Holland, Pennsylvania.

What makes Golden Wings Theatre Company especially distinctive is its student-led approach to theatre. With the guidance and support of one adult director, student directors work alongside young performers and fellow company members to bring the production to life.

From creative decision-making to collaboration and leadership, students gain hands-on experience that extends far beyond the stage.

Bye Bye Birdie follows rock-and-roll sensation Conrad Birdie as a farewell publicity campaign creates unexpected excitement in a small American town. The musical combines comedy, romance, and the energy of teenage life in the late 1950s.
